146 Topview Court is a ridgetop property on a private road with panoramic mountain views that is ready for you to build on. It comprises 10.46 acres of land in Cleveland, SC (10 miles from Travelers Rest, SC). The land is mostly covered with mature hardwoods and pines and lots of old, large mountain laurel. There is about 2 acres of cleared and mostly grassy areas and your choice of two ideal locations to build. A natural spring flows in the very NW corner of the property. With spectacular Table Rock standing in the distance, you'll live close to Bald Rock Heritage Preserve which provides one of the best panoramic views of the South Carolina foothills. Adjoining Caesar's Head State Park, the 165-acre preserve, including its well-known rock face, is a popular stop for travelers winding through the scenic roads of Greenville and Pickens counties. The preserve is part of the Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, also very near to 146 Topview Court, which includes Caesar's Head State Park and Jones Gap State Park as well as Wildcat Falls where you can park roadside and easily hike 20 minutes to see spectacular waterfalls. There is a publicly accessible trout stream 5 minutes from the property and numerous lake fishing and hiking trails in the immediate area. We bought the land with the intention of building our forever home nestled into mountain views, but fate led us to a historic home just over the border in NC, which we are currently restoring. We chose 146 Topview for its gorgeous views, airport proximity, (in both Asheville and Greenville) and loads of outdoor recreation areas. The biggest gem turned out to be the neighbors though- seriously kind, good southern people who can build or fix anything and who were quick to welcome us and help us get established in the local community. They helped us navigate the permitting process for the well, power, and septic. They even used their tractor to rescue us once when we got stuck in the mud (before the driveway improvements).
